The cut is close and clean rather than boxy, so between two sizes we would take the larger. It keeps the line through the shoulder without pulling across the chest.

A Bello Merino crew neck t-shirt worn open, sitting in an Italian drawing room

One t-shirt. Fewer washes.

  • Merino resists odour on its own, so this tee goes days between wears and still smells of nothing.
  • The fibre reads your body rather than the forecast, so one t-shirt works under a jacket in March and on its own in July.
  • It moves moisture as vapour before it becomes sweat, so the shirt stays dry and never sticks to your back.
  • 17.5 micron, finer than a human hair, which is why it sits flat against skin with no prickle.
  • It packs flat, comes out of a bag without creases and needs the machine far less often than cotton.
Where the wool comes from

Where the wool comes from

  • Our fibre is grown in Australia, where around eighty percent of the world's finest apparel wool comes from. Generations of breeding for fineness rather than volume is the reason, and no other country has caught up.
  • We buy at 17.5 micron. Finer wool costs more per kilo and there is no way around that, which is why a lot of what gets sold as fine merino sits nearer nineteen.
  • Spun and finished in Italy, in mills that have worked fine wool for longer than most countries have made clothing.
  • Cut and made in Italy, in the same small number of factories every season.
  • We make one range and repeat it. No drops, no seasonal colours, nothing you cannot replace in a year.
Reviews
  • I love Bello Merino and have a few items. So soft, warm and cooling at the same time. Thank you very much.
    Chris Lindqvist, Seattle, WA
  • I don't really have specifics. I enjoy the quality of the product, and purchasing is smooth.
    Daniel Okafor, Atlanta, GA
  • I love the trousers that I got, and I wear them every time I go out. They look great, are very comfortable, and they don't get stinky, which means I can go longer without looking for a laundromat.
Ben Hartley, Denver, CO Merino Trousers
  • I ran into a problem with my original order but customer service went above and beyond to make it right. The replacement item is perfect.
    Anthony Rivera, Austin, TX
  • Great quality, soft merino. The tall sizes are what really does it for me.
    Michael Reyes, Miami, FL
